OpenGeo Installation Photos
An OpenGeo measurement system was installed on a BNSF test car and used to gather track geometry data over the course of a week. The measurement hardware performed very well and there were no failures during testing. Total system installation was achieved with about 6 hours of work. Note the absence of any complicated shielding from sunlight.
Initial analysis of the data is very promising and serves to validate the system design and operation.
